Health Action Partnership International

National Heart Forum / Health Action Partnership International

The Health Action Partnership International is an international health partnership bringing together leading professionals and organisations from across the world to improve the effectiveness of action to address the social and economic determinants of health, and to build capacity in countries to tackle health inequity.  HAPI works with partners to promote and maintain health. It does this through technical assistance, project management, consultancy, partnerships and twinning.

The Health Action Partnership is located within the National Heart Forum (NHF). The NHF is a leading UK charitable alliance of 65 national organisations working to reduce the risk of avoidable coronary heart disease and related conditions such as stroke, diabetes and cancer. NHF’s purpose is to co-ordinate public health policy development and advocacy among members drawn from professional representative bodies, consumer groups, voluntary and public sector organisations.
