The Centre for Public Health is a vibrant research community working in partnership to deliver health at local, regional, national and international level. We specialise in applied research addressing health issues at all levels from policy development to service delivery. The Centre is firmly committed to a multi-disciplinary approach to Public Health and works not only with health services but also with local authorities, judicial bodies, environmental services and community groups. The Centre is organised into expert teams working together to produce comprehensive answers to public health issues including violence, alcohol, drug use, sexual health and public health intelligence. The Centre for Public Health is a World Health Organization Collaborating Centre for Violence Prevention.
