Mihai Horga, MD, PhD
Dr. Mihai Horga is consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist, with extensive research, training, programme development, management and leadership experience.
Before joining the East European Institute for Reproductive Health as Senior Advisor, he acted as Assistant Representative in the UNFPA Romania Office, responsible with the coordination of the implementation of the UNFPA Country Programme in Romania in the areas of reproductive health, gender, and population and development, and as Director of Family and Social Assistance in the Ministry of Health of Romania, responsible for women's and children's health, and for the strategic planning and development and implementation of family and community health policies in Romania, including domestic and gender-based violence.

Ionela Cozos
Ionela Cozos is the President of the East European Institute for Reproductive Health. She received her degree in communication and public relations after the initial background in health. Her areas of expertise are reproductive health and rights, gender based violence / domestic violence, communication / public relations, project / programme management, training facilitation.
Ionela is acting in programs on the area of reproductive health and rights, including gender-based violence, that facilitate policy dialogue and provide policy advocacy and support, promote research, training and communication, provide services and build evidence for scaling up and replication of good practices, provide consultancy, technical assistance and programme coaching, and promote international networking, documenting and sharing of good practices.
